"He did not know why he was so irrationally happy, for nothing had changed in his life or hers. He had not even touched the tip of her fingers or looked her full in the eyes. But their evening together had given him a vision of what life at her side might be, and he was glad now that he had done nothing to trouble the sweetness of the pircture. He had a fancy that she knew what had restrained him..." (Wharton 56)

Sometimes, a cup of coffee, a guitar, and a breezy day makes everything seem alright.

It's selfish not to blog, hm?
Oh. I see.

I hate how the Children's Place forces me to know all this music.
But hey. It could be worse.

The turnover rate at the Children's Place is truly impressive.
Truly impressive.
People are so strange.

Mm, 8 hours of work.
Can't wait for college.

But I like processing shipment in the morning because I can fold and hang things while day dreaming.
Day dreaming has been so nice lately.
What research paper?

Art's silly. I don't really get it.
How do you actually paint sunset clouds?
I just wanted to touch them.
But you can't have them. It's not allowed.
But they look so real. So perfect.
And yet, so far out of reach.
...that's dumb.
I'm just gonna so sleep.

I think it's just a void.
But that's alright.

Calculus probably needs to be done...
World Lit is going to be a pain this week.
And I guess mousetrap cars are things.
Can't this week just be vacation?
I'd really like that.

Where is sleep and why isn't it with me right now?

That awkward moment when you write a really depressing blog post, and it's so awful that, even in the moment of emotion, you decide it's too pathetic to even post.

Brightsides:
-2 weeks until vacation.
-No school next Friday for All-States.
-I don't actually hate my prom dress anymore.
-I have functioning headphones.
-I have a bed.
-Clean water.
-The ability to go to a competitive college.

I guess all the extra work was worth it.
Now it's just a matter of waiting for the bigger picture to come into place.

Going to Brandeis.
Prom dress shipped.
Homework is basically done.
There's mango ice cream in the freezer.
Very little that could make me more excited right now.
